My gallary over the years.
I have pulled together a load of my favourite pictures over the years into the below gallary. I want to show off a number of photographic disaplines that I enjoy! If you want to work with me, please do get in touch.

Lumix S5
This was my second time photographing a Y5ive Boxing event, and my first time shooting it with the Lumix S5. After battling the limitations of the Sony A7II and its stock lens at my first event, stepping into the ring‑side environment with the S5 gave me a fresh set of challenges — and a few welcome advantages.
The Lumix S5 handled low light far better, but I was still working with a stock lens and a higher F‑stop than ideal for fast‑moving action. Boxing is unforgiving when it comes to timing, and even with improved dynamic range, keeping the images sharp while controlling noise demanded constant adjustment. Every punch, slip, and counter required quick decisions on shutter speed, ISO, and exposure to keep the shots clean.
Despite the limitations, I managed to achieve far more consistent results this time around. The S5 gave me enough flexibility to push the look further, and I pulled out a selection of strong, stylised images that capture the intensity and atmosphere of the night.
Since then, I’ve gone on to shoot this event multiple times, each one helping me refine my approach, adapt to the lighting, and push the gear to its limits. This gallery represents that progression — learning the environment, mastering the timing, and making the most of the tools in my hands.
My First Boxing Photography in 2023.
Sony A7II
This was my first time shooting for Y5ive Boxing, and I went in armed with nothing but my stock lens on my Sony A7II — high F‑stop, low light, and a whole lot of movement to contend with. Getting clean, sharp shots in a boxing ring under those conditions is no joke, and the noise levels were constantly trying to ruin the moment.
Still, I managed to achieve consistent results and a few good pictures. I really try to work to the camera limitations. I have shot this event a few additional times.
